What you will do
You will be part of the team which develops, deploys, and maintains custom simulation solutions, libraries, and extensions for FlexSim and Visual Components. You are expected to become proficient in process simulation and deeply understand the business domain of our clients. At the same time, you will work on improving modeling tools, their usability, performance, and reliability. We try to prototype and iterate on our solutions quickly, and then automate where possible. Most of the work is done in the Turin office. Post-Covid, occasional face-to-face meetings with the clients will be required.
Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics)
- Experience with C++ programming language
- Experience with any scripting language (Python, Javascript, Lua, R)
- Experience in mathematical modeling and simulation
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Driving license
Preferential requisites
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of the business process management
- Basic knowledge of statistics and experience in data analysis, relational DBs (SQL), ML, BI
- Version control: git
- Continuous integration: Jenkins, Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Automation: Powershell
